I.          CALL TO ORDER

            Chairman Bozeman called the meeting to order at 8:00 a.m.

 

II.                APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF JUNE 19, 2007

           

Ms. Marx moved to approve the Minutes of June 19, 2007.  Ms. Dunn seconded.   Motion passed unanimously.

 

III.             REPORT FROM CHAIRMAN BOZEMAN

 

Chairman Bozeman read Mr. Miller’s letter of resignation to the Committee. 

 

Chairman Bozeman, Ms. Andren and Ms. Bruffey attended the Melbourne Beach Old Town Hall History Center Tour.  Anyone interested in touring the renovated Center should contact Ms. Dian Croce at 321-952-2792.

 

The Sony ICDMX20 Memory Stick Digital Voice Recorder has been ordered.  Ms. Bozeman returned to Town Hall the Sony HC30 MINIDV Handycam as it is no longer working.    

 

Chairman Bozeman spoke with Mr. Stokes, Building Office for the Town of Indialantic regarding notification when a building over 50 years old is going to be demolished. 

 

Chairman Bozeman will e-mail the Committee the list of people to consider interviewing. 

 

IV.              OTHER

 

Ms. Sherman’s application is on the Town Council Agenda for this evening. 

 

Ms. Milligan is interested in re-joining the Heritage Committee and will submit her application to Town Hall. 

 

Ms. Bruffey spoke with Debra Wynne, Archivist from the Florida Historical Society regarding the procedures for submitting the 55^th Anniversary Celebration DVD to them and gave Chairman Bozeman Ms. Wynne’s business card.  Chairman Bozeman will follow up with Ms. Wynn and report back.

 

Ms. Andren and Ms. Bruffey agreed to meet on Wednesday, August 22^nd, at 9:00 a.m. in Chambers to work on archiving.

 

The next meeting is September 18^th at 8:00 a.m.
