I.          CALL TO ORDER

            Vice Chairperson Bozeman called the meeting to order at 8:00 a.m.

 

II.            APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF JANUARY 22, 2008

Tabled to next meeting.

 

III.            REPORT FROM VICE CHAIRPERSON BOZEMAN

Vice Chairperson Bozeman reported that the six interviews on Saturday, February 9^th went very well.  Interviewees were:  Margery Bollinger, Patsy Oliphant, Gene Threadgill, Lois Mussler Robinson, Nell Mussler and John MacNeill, Sr.  Vice Chairperson Bozeman purchased DVD tapes for the interviews and gave the receipt to Town Hall for reimbursement.  Mr. Goldfarb, who volunteered to help with the recording, is putting the interviews on DVDs and copies will be given to the interviewees thanking them for their participation.  Vice Chairperson Bozeman will ask Chairperson Marx to turn into Town Hall the General Releases signed by the interviewees.  

 

Vice Chairperson Bozeman drafted the Indialantic Heritage Committee February 2008 Status Report and distributed to members.  Vice Chairperson Bozeman agreed to consolidate the Archive Status report written by Ms. Andren and Ms. Bruffey into the Heritage Committee Status Report.  After the final version is approved by Committee members, it will be given to Town Hall and Town Council so they are aware of the Committee’s dedication, value and on-going projects. 

 

IV.            PROJECTS

A.             Potential Interviewee Schedule

Vice Chairperson Bozeman will continue to update the Potential Interviewee List.     

Ms. Andren suggested breaking up the potential interview schedule into a series of topics – i.e., the first being people in government, contacting them to see if they are interested in participating and then forwarding to them the pre-interview data sheet. 

 

 

 

B.             Archive Files

Ms. Andren and Ms. Bruffey are continuing to work on archiving in Chambers.  Next archiving date is February 27^th from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.  Please contact Ms. Andren if you are interested in helping out. 

 

C.                Town Website

This is a project for the near future. 

 

V.            OTHER

The next meeting is March 18^th at 8:00 a.m.
